	1009	Resin Chess Set by Fontanini of Tuscany A very special chess set designed by Elio Simonetti for the Italian Handicraft Company Fontanini of Tuscany. This is a 100% authentic Fontanini set: each chess piece is marked with the inscription: “DEPOSE ITALY” with the characteristic Spider brand marking. Only a limited number of copies of this chess game were made. The famous Fontanini cast resin has been used to cast these pieces. The chess set is inspired by a Medieval theme and manufactured in around 1970-1980.
